I get my braces off in november and about a month ago I got an expander on my top teeth. I don’t think it’s a pallate expander because it doesn’t make a gap and i wear it with my braces. I can take it out and stuff, but do you think that I will have to wear my braces longer since I just got an expander? Thank you!

justanickname asked: I am getting my braces off and because of some constraints I NEED to get my braces off on a certain date. The ortho told me that the teeth could move in the 2-week time window where I get the braces off and get my new retainer.
Do teeth really relapse THAT quickly? Serious answers only pls!!
