Are you sure the orthodontist will only do just the top teeth? Most want to do both arches to make sure the teeth stay aligned correctly. Prices vary depending on length and complexity of the treatment, as well as the orthodontist, and the area in which you live. I would recommend setting up consultation appointments at several different orthodontist to see what they have to say and the differences in cost.
mine cost a little over 2000 dollars. my bottom row cost the same amount. i had to get them at different times so they were charged seppartely.but it depends on the orthodontist.
Mine were a little over $5,000 for the complete set. I was referred to an orthodontist who was way overrated. The same procedure could have been procured for way less. You might talk to your orthodontist about financing or see if they would bill half of the fee during the first year (have the braces applied at the end of the year) and then bill the remaining balance to the insurance company on the second year. Just a thought… If price is an issue, be sure to check around. Orthodontists are competetive so you could probably get a good price if you do your research. Good luck.
