Daydreamin’ asked:

I need to sign up with a good medical and dental insurance since my job does not offer any benefits. I was wondering if i can just sign onto a medical and dental insurance on an independent basis. If so, please recommend a good medical and a good dental carrier. I live in Arizona if that makes a difference. Thx in advance. PS I wonder if there is a plan that offers both medical and dental all in one out there some where.

Princess Lindsayy asked:

I’m still under my mom’s health insurance but she doesn’t have dental so is there a way to still get her health insurance but get my own dental insurance on the side? I need to get invisalign and I’m going to pay for it on my own but insurance would definitely help that. Also how do I pay for it? Is there like a monthly fee? I’m really stupid when it comes to this stuff so any help would be nice.

I need an implant since I’m missing a tooth, and my dental insurance doesn’t cover implants. I’ve heard that occasionally people have gotten their medical insurance to pay for implants. Has anyone tried this? If so, who is your insurance company? Any tips? Thanks!

How do I get my dental insurance to process/pay my claim?

November 23rd, 2009
dbrcymry asked:

I have dental insurance through WellPoint Dental Services. I needed a dental procedure and my dentist filed it and I received an approval/precertification from WellPoint in the mail. It said the insurance would pay $204 of the procedure. I had the procedure 4/25/2007. I paid my dentist in full (that’s how he does it) and have been trying to collect the $204 ever since. I have called the insurance co and am always told it is in process. I have written 2 letters with a copy of the precertification to the address on my card and have had no response. On 7/18/2997, a rep said that it had been misfiled, but it would be sent to claims immediately and that all the necessary info was there. I have received no response to my letters, no check. What should I do now?? That procedure was $1000 and I could really use the $204. Thanks for any help!
